In It: How Churches and Leaders can Get It and Keep It, author Craig Groeschel (pastor at LifeChurch.tv) attempts to define and describe the indescribable contrast between churches. Some churches are vibrant, alive, and impacting many lives for the Kingdom of God. Yet at other churches the mood is depressing, the members are stagnant, and the church is spiritually dead. Even if these churches are next to one another, sharing the same geography, community, and culture, they will look vastly different inside. God’s Problem

God's Problem by Bart EhrmanLast night I finished reading God’s Problem by Bart Ehrman. Ehrman is an agnostic (former evangelical) New Testament scholar at UNC- Chapel Hill. Given his background, and since the subtitle is How the Bible Fails to Answer our Most Important Question: Why We Suffer, I knew from the beginning I would disagree with the majority of the text. However, I did try to read the book with as open a mind as I could.
